My Values For over fifteen years, I have been an advocate for and raised funds on behalf of our community’s underprivileged children, children with special needs, homeless adults, and at-risk seniors. I believe the moral test of a community is how it treats children, the aged, the sick, and the needy. Because of this experience, I passionately endorse protecting families whenever possible from life’s misfortunes. I am an authority on preparing for one’s twilight years and have helped hundreds of families plan their final arrangements in accordance with their cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences. My first-hand experience with diverse families coping with dying loved ones bears witness to my strong advocacy for advance planning. Early in my career, I provided information technology solutions to the National Intelligence services to help strengthen our national security. As a son of a war veteran who survived a plane crash and parachute escape during combat, I am an ardent believer in personal sacrifice for the good of country, community, and family. My wife, Renee, and I spend much of our time providing opportunities for our two young daughters, Sydney and Ashley; a trait inherited from our parents – our role models. Whether it’s helping in the classroom, organizing scouting excursions, assisting with athletics, or going on weekend adventures, we believe “you get out what you put in.” While certainly true for rearing children, it’s just as important for achieving other worthwhile endeavors, such as, excelling at school, establishing a successful career, building a loving family, or achieving financial security.
